Description

Deer Springs Trail is a 3.3 mile trail located just outside of Idyllwild, CA. The trail heads directly up the mountain and maintains an uphill climb for the extent of the trail. There are several nice vistas that offer good view of the Hemet Valley. The trail is located in a Pine and Oak forest, with plenty of shade and abundant wildlife, particularly squirrels and blue jays.

Directions

Heading North from Idyllwild on HWY 243, about 3 miles outside of town. Trailhead is located on main road on the right hand side. Follow signs, near the county nature center.
